Beatriz Durán Balda

Beatriz Durán Balda (Logroño, 1990)

Professional photographer specialized in documental, photojournalism and portrait. I am currently based in Madrid, but I offer my photographic services worldwide. I develop multi-format projects, I know the mobile environment and I am familiar with real-time delivery requirements.

I have a Master in Photography and Postproduction, with the Specialization in Photojournalism. I Previously studied Engineering in Industrial Design and Product Development between Zaragoza and Jönköping (Sweden), and later I was certified as Project Manager Professional (PMP). This basis gives me a broader vision when developing and documenting projects.

I lived in Sweden for two years and I have been working with international clients for more than six years, so I can communicate seamlessly in English. I also have knowledge of French and Swedish.

My documentary projects focus mainly on these pillars: diversity, identity, society, inequalities, ties and change. There are many unknown stories that the world should know and I use my camera to amplify their voices (I don’t like the idea of “giving people a voice”, because everyone has theirs… we simply amplify it with our means so that they can reach more people).
